MountainWings A MountainWings Moment
#1324 Wings Over The Mountains of Life

The Issue That You Don't Like
===================
This is to warn you in advance about the upcoming MountainWings
issue that you won't like.
"What upcoming issue?" you ask.
Am I getting ready to write something so controversial that many
people will violently disagree with it?
Have I run across something that I am about to publish that I
think will bring the same reaction?
No.
This is for an unknown and/or as of yet unwritten issue.
This is for the issue that you won't like.
Life itself is issues.
Each day is a new chapter, a new episode, a new show, often with
new characters, new situations, new plots and new endings.
Some we don't like.
ISSUES
I preached a sermon called simply that.
ISSUES on AirJesus.com
It was one of those sermons based on revelation that I had never
heard before.
I had always wondered about the Biblical story of the pool of
Bethesda. For those of you unfamiliar with it, Bethesda was a
pool surrounded by five porches full of sick people waiting for
an angel to heal one of them each season.
Jesus came, picked out ONE man, healed him and left all of the
others there. I had wondered for years, why did Jesus leave all
of those sick people? Why only heal one? I had never
understood that until the revelation in the sermon, "Issues."
The woman with the issue of blood was the other illustration.
That's also a Biblical story. She had five issues.
1. She was sick and the doctors couldn't help her.
2. She was suffering
3. She was broke
4. She had no spouse
5. Things were getting worse
She had issues.
Although the congregation clapped at the end of that sermon,
I knew some didn't like it.
Whenever you deal with real issues, someone won't like the
answer. Guaranteed. The only way to prevent it is to not deal
with real issues, but that choice is an issue itself.
Sooner or later, there will be a MountainWings issue that you
don't like or won't agree with.
Some say, "but I've loved all of the MountainWings issues."
Wait.
It's coming.
It may take years, but it's coming.
Married?
Sooner or later another issue is coming that you won't like.
Your husband/wife will do something that you won't like.
Got a boss?
Sooner or later an issue is coming that you won't like.
Your boss will do something that you don't like.
Got family?
Sooner or later "another" issue is coming that you won't like.
They will do something that you don't like.
Parents, children, the government, the church, you name it;
sooner or later, they will do something that you don't like.
Issues of life
The issue that you don't like is not the key to life,
but it can open the door to hell.
One issue causes divorces, family feuds that never end, job
stress and turmoil, friends to split and even countries to war.
The key is not the bad issue but to focus on the good issues,
which usually outnumber the bad by multiples.
We have had people to unsubscribe from MountainWings because
they didn't like one issue. They receive it for years, they
are blessed with it for years, they say so, then one issue
comes that they don't like and "POOF" they are gone.
The church is the same way.
People will come for years.
They are blessed for years. They say so.
Then one sermon comes that they don't agree with and "POOF"
they are gone.
Such is life.
Such is the nature of issues.
In your marriage, your family, your job, your nation,
even with MountainWings, don't let one small issue that you
don't agree with or don't like, make you go POOF.
For that issue is coming, guaranteed.
It is the nature of the issues of life.
