What In The World?

It was a rather strange title for an e-mail addressed to
MountainWings.  That was the title, "What in the world?"
Below is the e-mail:

"My dad sent me something that has this website.  What is this
website, what purpose is it and what do you have to offer?"

It seemed rather strange, but the more I thought about the
strange title the more of A MountainWings Moment it became.

"What in the world?"

What indeed?

A seemingly silly question.
Out of line.
Out of context.
Written by someone who hadn't taken the time to read the first
paragraph on the homepage.

"What in the world?"

Maybe they will never understand MountainWings.

Why?

Because they look for an explanation "in the world"
and it's not "in the world."

The world – our secular capitalistic systems would never find
MountainWings.

Why?
It doesn't make any monetary profit.  It was never designed to.
That goes against "the world."

Why?
99% of you don't even know my name.
It was not designed to bring fame.
That goes against natural pride.

Why?
No violence, no sex, no gutter sensationalism, no bad news.
That's against our worldly daily news diet.

"What in the world?"

Maybe – just maybe

it's not of the world.


"Because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."
