We received a $50 donation from Lebanon today. I see all of
the donations that come through MountainWings and any of the
AirJesus.com websites. I make it a point to say two prayers
over each financial seed that is sown.

I first pray and thank God for the person by name. I then ask
for God's blessings to be sent to them by name.

No matter how many times a person sends something, no matter
what the amount, large or small, I pray for them specifically each
time. I don't respond to donors directly, but I do pray for
them each time.

We have received donations from many countries, but the Lebanon
donation particularly affected me as I prayed for the person
who sent it. I did some quick checking and discovered that in
2007, roughly half of the population was Muslim and a fourth
of the population was Christian. The other fourth is
distributed among varied religions. I was surprised that one
fourth was Christian.

MountainWings has many Islamic readers, and I don't know the
religion of the person who sent the donation. What I do know
is that she is a giver and that she appreciates MountainWings.

Realizing that someone relates to MountainWings, despite the distance
and seemingly differences of a land so far away, somehow
affected me today more than normal.

Wherever we are, both in terms of geography, belief and
spiritual level, we all face similar earthly trials whether we
are in Lebanon in the Mideast or Lebanon, N.Y.

To those who have given, I thank you and I have prayed for
you.
