Can I get MountainWings on a schedule other than daily?
For example, only on weekdays or three times per week?

MountainWings is a daily e-mail and the only availability is daily.
It's enough challenge getting one schedule out faithfully.

What if I wanted to use an original MountainWings story in a publication, broadcast, article, web site, or other media?
You may use a MountainWings Original story without charge, up to 14 per publication, website, or other media per month. In other words, It’s FREE. You are free to link to MountainWings or directly link to an unlimited number of issues. To link directly to an issue, simply use the link format http://www.mountainwings.com/past/xxxx.htm where xxxx is the issue#.

If the story is an “Author Unknown” you do not need to give MountainWings credit. We can neither grant nor deny you permission to use “Author Unknowns” since we don’t know who wrote it. It is appropriate to say “from MountainWings.com” (do as your conscience dictates) but it is not required. Stories or comments written by subscribers are not “Author Unknowns” even if we do not reveal the name. Those are MountainWings Originals. Only stories that specifically say “Author Unknown” fit the “Author Unknown” category.

For MountainWings Originals, the following three requirements apply:

1. The issue must not be modified. It must remain true to its original purpose and content, which is to uplift readers.

2. At the end of each story used, in a font size no smaller than the story body copy, one of the following three closing lines must be used:
“...from MountainWings.com – The Daily Inspirational Email”
“from MountainWings.com - The World’s Largest Inspirational Email”
                 or simply “from MountainWings.com”

You DO NOT have to include the standard closing lines of each story that begins with the line: “A MountainWings Original” or “Thank you for inviting MountainWings in your mailbox.”

Radio stations that use audio versions of “A MountainWings Moment” must have the opening statement, “A MountainWings Moment from MountainWings dot com” and the closing statement,
“This has been a MountainWings Moment from MountainWings dot com.”

3. There is a limit of 14 issues per publication, website, or other media in a one month period but no limit on the number of issues you can directly link to.

Although it’s not required, we would appreciate it if you would drop us a note at when you use a MountainWings story. It helps to keep us encouraged.

I am going on vacation, how do I temporarily stop my subscription?
The only way to do this is to unsubscribe before you leave and subscribe again when you return. We don’t have a suspend feature yet. To read the issues that you miss while you are gone, simply click Past Issues.

How do you make money from MountainWings?
Basically, we don’t. MountainWings is purely a service for people to help them.  We don't sell, rent or give out the mailing list in any way .  In plain English, it's free to you, we do it free of charge and we don't get paid for it.  For those who are led to help, donations are cheerfully accepted.

One of the first lessons of life to learn is that everything that pays is not necessarily paid in money.

If you don't make money from MountainWings, then who pays for it and why?
MountainWings is supported by a Pastor of a Christian church.  He is a successful businessman and it's his way of giving back to the world.  If one person is helped over their mountain, it's worth it.

Who writes MountainWings and what is the history of MountainWings?
The main editor and writer is that Pastor, Nathaniel Bronner along with his brother Rev. James Bronner. All MountainWings Originals unless otherwise indicated are written by Nathaniel Bronner or James Bronner. Nathaniel Bronner’s book, Quick Fasting, www.quickfasting.com, which includes his bio,  is available for all to read on the web. Others on the staff of The ARK of Salvation, www.theonlineword.com contribute issues and many submissions are sent by the subscribers of MountainWings. You can read the history of MountainWings here
http://www.mountainwings.com/past/1246.htm

What happens when I need advice?
Our staff will do our best to offer general advice on your situation.
Please read the terms of submission.  Also understand that you need to seek specific professional help for serious problems and MountainWings.com cannot be liable for any action taken on advice given.  Advice is often tricky, as the situations are often more complicated than the one side stated and even professionals have great difficulty advising in complicated circumstances.  Simply put, we will try to help but we can't be responsible, you must always use your best judgment.

What happens when I submit a prayer request?
Your prayer request will be prayed over individually. Many prayer requests are prayed over within minutes or hours after they are submitted. Each prayer is prayed over at least once - but often twice.

A prayer vigil is held each Wednesday at The ARK at noon. Each Wednesday, prayer requests for the past seven days are brought to the prayer group. Prayer requests are then prayed over for the first or second time during the prayer vigil.

All Godly requests will be prayed over.  For example, we won't pray for you to get someone's husband for yourself.  Keep things in spiritual order. Use REAL NAMES and specifics, not generalities, for prayer requests.

Remember, the prayer group prays over each request by NAME.
Spell out the situation as detailed as possible.

We have a dedicated Prayer Room on the third floor of The ARK.  Your prayer request will be placed in a special locked prayer box in the Prayer Room.

Prayer requests will NOT be posted on MountainWings.com unless for some reason we feel it will benefit others. We usually only post one in a thousand prayer requests. Discretion is always used with potentially embarrassing situations and real names and locations are never used on any public posting without permission.

Prayer requests will be left in the prayer box in the prayer room for a minimum of seven days. CLICK HERE to submit your prayer request.

Is MountainWings religious?
We try to make MountainWings beneficial for all.  Everyone, no matter what their religion, faces similar problems and hurdles in life.  MountainWings tries to lift ALL people with stories, jokes, and situations that are common to all.  There are universal truths that apply to everyone just as mountains and wings apply to all.  MountainWings should help you if you are human (not applicable to aliens).  You see, MountainWings even has humor in answering your questions.

Is MountainWings copyrighted?
Approximately half of the MountainWings issues are original material and all MountainWings.com original material is copyrighted.  The other half is submitted by readers and are public quotes, jokes, stories, etc. that are NOT written by readers specifically for MountainWings. Submissions by readers for MountainWings is copyrighted.  The compilation of the MountainWings issues is copyrighted as a group.

If I decide to try MountainWings and don't like it, how soon will my unsubscribe request be processed?
92% of those that are subscribed to MountainWings keep their subscription.   8% don't.   We do our best to make sure that if you trust us enough to try MountainWings  and for ANY reason don't want to continue, you are removed from the mailing list as quickly as possible.  A simple unsubscribe link is included at the end of each issue.   If you unsubscribe before midnight, you will receive no more issues, if you unsubscribe after midnight, it is possible that you might receive the next days issue.  The maximum number of issues that you could receive after unsubscribing is ONE.

Why do you need my zip code for me to subscribe?
First, you can't be identified by your zip code.  Unless of course, you have a huge castle like estate that takes up an entire zip code.  If you have a huge castle like estate that takes up an entire zip code you've got a lot more things to handle than worrying about who knows your zip code.  You've got to watch the moat.  There are thousands of households in each zip code.  Your zip code simply tells us what city you are in.  As we advertise MountainWings.com, it helps to know what areas MountainWings is having an impact.  Also, if you are in the Atlanta area, we can tell you about special events.

I typed in another web address such as DearGodHelpMe.com, HighSchoolClassMates.com, ubuyit.com, etc. and it went to MountainWings.com, Why?
The main writer of MountainWings owns many domains, it’s a side business called NameItRight.com. Some of the domains are for future business projects and most are for sale. Instead of going to the NameItRight web site, they go to MountainWings. Many have signed up for MountainWings from going to those sites. It’s better to have the domains pointing to MountainWings where people may be helped, instead of going to a For Sale site. Anyone interested in purchasing a domain that points to MountainWings may go to NameItRight.com.

I stopped receiving MountainWings or can’t get issues, what happened?
If you aren’t getting MountainWings it is usually caused by your internet provider or email service blocking delivery of MountainWings. If you are receiving all other emails fine, this may be the case.

Your net provider could block MountainWings because they think it is Spam and not something that you requested.

Try the other steps listed below and if they don’t work, then contact your internet or email provider with this information.

FIRST, add the email address that MountainWings is sent from:
wings@mountainwings.com to your SafeSendersList.
CLICK HERE for instructions on how to add
wings@mountainwings.com to your Safe Senders List at SafeSendersList.com.

There are 3 major reasons why you may not be receiving MountainWings.
Please read ALL 3 reasons below and their solutions.

Since the first issue of MountainWings, we have only missed two issues, one when my wife delivered our third son. Things are now more automated, (with MountainWings, not baby deliveries) so we don’t expect to miss any more.

If you are missing issues, it is NOT because we are not sending them, please read on to find possible causes.

There is a better way to read MountainWings each day by putting a shortcut on your desktop. Simply click the link below to learn about this. http://www.mountainwings.com/shortcut.html

Remember, if you miss a MountainWings issue, you can always view the current and past issues by clicking "Past Issues" at MountainWings.com.

If you have NEVER received an issue and have difficulty subscribing, you can also subscribe by simply sending an email “FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS” that you want to subscribe to
join-mountainwingsconfirmed@mountainwings1.com.
You can leave the email blank, just send it to that email address FROM the address that you want to subscribe.

If you were receiving MountainWings and it suddenly stopped or if you subscribed and don’t get issues, there are several possibilities:

1. Your email address could have been placed on hold by the MountainWings mailer due to delivery failures, because you couldn't receive email from us.

Delivery failures occur for many reasons, a discontinued email address, a full inbox, or an email server or net connection that is down temporarily are the major reasons.

2. Somehow, you could have accidentally un-subscribed or someone else could have un-subscribed you. If you were un-subscribed, you would receive an email saying that you had been un-subscribed

***To remedy either of the above situations, just go to
MountainWings.com and re-subscribe.

After re-subscribing, you'll get an email within ten minutes either saying that you are subscribed or that your address was removed from hold.

If you do not get an email within 30 minutes of re-subscribing, then most likely your email address is blocked by your internet provider.  If you don't receive the confirmation email within 30 minutes, follow the instructions below.

3. Your internet or email provider maybe blocking your MountainWings deliver. CLICK HERE if you think that is the case.

Check the home page at MountainWings.com to make we are not having problems with our service and issues are being delayed. We will post it on the home page if we are having problems.

Thanks and we hope you get back with us soon.

We hope this solves the problem.
If not, then you may not be able to receive the Email version
and will need to click here.

I have UN-Subscribed but I am still getting issues, why?
EVERY case that we have had of the unsubscribe appearing not to work is because the address that you are trying to unsubscribe is different from the one you are subscribed as.  Even one character makes a difference.

Please MAKE SURE the email address that you are subscribed as is the EXACT one that you are trying to un-subscribe.

LOOK at the last line in any issue - your exact subscribing email address will be on the last line.

Remember, just one character difference is a different email address to a mailing list.

Check the last line of any issue then CLICK HERE to UN-Subscribe.

On rare occaisions the unsubscribe form may not work with your computer. In those cases, simply send a blank email FROM the email address you are unsubscribing to:
leave-mountainwingsconfirmed@mountainwings1.com

What if I have a question not answered in the FAQ's.
